Overview

OtterKit is a local development toolkit with two products:

Desktop App - A native macOS app for .localhost domains with HTTPS, public tunnels, webhook testing, traffic inspection, and port management. Best for day-to-day local development when you want a visual interface to manage domains, inspect traffic, and share your work with a click.

CLI - A command-line tool to expose local ports, capture webhooks, and share files from the terminal. Powered by pay-per-use micropayments, any AI agent can instantly create a secure edge URL without API keys or accounts. Built for automation, AI agents, CI/CD pipelines, and headless environments where a GUI isn't available.

You can use both. Most developers install the Desktop App for their daily workflow and reach for the CLI when automating or working from a script.
