The dashboard answers two questions: what is running right now, and what is it costing? Stat cards at the top show your live sessions, current spend, and what this month would cost if everything kept running. A forgotten always-on tunnel shows up here before it shows up on your bill.
Listening ports#
Below the stats, the app lists the ports that have something listening on your Mac, with the process name next to each. Click Expose and the app creates a tunnel to that port. It is the same as running npx otterkit tunnel 3000, without the terminal. Ports that already have a live tunnel don't get a button.
Live traffic#
Every session row streams its traffic live: method, path, status, and timing. Click through to open the full request feed with headers and bodies. Tunnels capture traffic by default while they are up, and webhook endpoints capture every request around the clock.
Menu bar#
The menu bar icon shows the projected monthly spend next to it, and you can turn that off in Settings. Closing the main window keeps the app running there, so guardrails stay active and one click brings the window back.
