Dashboard & Ports

The dashboard is the answer to "what's running right now, and what is it costing?" — stat cards up top show your live sessions, current spend, and what this month would cost if every tunnel kept running, so a forgotten always-on tunnel is visible at a glance rather than a billing surprise.

Listening ports

Below the stats, the app lists the ports with something actually listening on your Mac, with the process name next to each. Click Expose and the app provisions a tunnel to that port — the same thing as npx otterkit tunnel 3000, without the terminal.

Live traffic

Every session row streams its traffic live — method, path, status, timing — and clicking through opens the full request feed with headers and bodies, the same capture viewer used in the console. Tunnels capture traffic by default while they're up; webhook endpoints store every request server-side around the clock.

Menu bar

The menu bar icon is always current: how many sessions are live and the projected monthly spend. Closing the main window keeps the app running there, so guardrails stay active and one click brings the window back.
